Sweet Cream Ladies, Ltd. by Flo Fitzpatrick Encircle Publications LLC Mystery & Thrillers

DESCRIPTION:

If Becoming a Contract Killer is Your Idea of a Joke, Keep it Quiet or You Could Land in a Heap of Trouble Who says men should have all the fun? During a margarita fest at a Manhattan Café, an intoxicated Babs Harrison and her buddy Bootsie Kittredge joke about starting a contract killing business. Unemployed and running low on funds, they fantasize about becoming hit women. Admiring the skills of assassin Max von Sydow in Three Nights of the Condor, they know they are up to the challenge. And they love the idea of out-of-this-world pay. Ideal targets will be ex-husbands, professional rivals, and anyone who somehow displeases the people that hire them. When an increasingly inebriated Babs suddenly stands up and announces for all to hear three targets of their newly-formed contract killing service, Bootsie wonders if the sanity train has left the station. And the stunned audience of mostly women isn’t sure whether to laugh or pull out their checkbooks and hire them on the spot. Then the real fun begins. In short order, all three people named by Babs are murdered. Coincidence, precognition, or something else? Babs and Boots quickly find themselves in the crosshairs of skeptical detectives, mob bosses, agents, a fake psychic, and a magician who has the uncanny ability to know where the ladies are at any given moment. Battling time and formidable opponents, Babs and Boots claim that it was all a joke and that they had nothing to do with the killings. They even try to prove it. They claim that they are innocent. But are they?

MY REVIEW

This is my first book from Flo Fitzpatrick and I found it to be extremely entertaining. It contains humor along with thrilling twits as Babs and Bootsie maneuver their way around the police, the mob and Madam Minerva, a fake psychic.

I love these ladies Babs and Bootsie, they are funny and extremely entertaining.

Did their announcement about having three contract killings mean they actually killed them or was someone else taking matters into their own hands? You have to buy the book to find out, but I can tell you that you will not see the ending coming.

I was provided this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book for anyone who loves a good mystery. 📕👍🏼

I GIVE IT A 5 STAR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
