A new island getaway awaits you this coming fall at the Belmond Cap Juluca, Anguilla.

It is located in the Maunday’s Village beach and stretches one mile long. Belmond, Ltd purchased this 179 acre property on Anguilla’s southwestern end of the island and by the end of the opening in November will have spent approximately $121 million in the acquisition and subsequent renovation and expansion of the resort.

As part of their expansion they have included a spa and fitness center, a rustic beach bar and and a pool and outdoor terrace featuring a shaded infinity pool. However, one of the most anticipated are the villas. They will have three and five bedroom villas which will include kitchens, large dining areas and private pools. Each room and villa will be beachfront so regardless of whether you want to wake up looking out into the sea or fall asleep to the sounds of the waves you will be truly enchanted.

Of course the cuisine at the resort will bring locally sourced seafood combed with international flavors using herbs and spices from their own garden. Pimms, the well known restaurant on the island promises to bring elevated specialities to attract even the most discerning foodie expert. Another spectacular eating establishment at the resort will be Cip’s by Cippriani. Here they will offer a casual Italian menu which will include such dishes as risottos, pastas and salads.

For even more casual setting don’t forget to try out The Cap Shack where options will be served from a food truck brining you live calypso and reggae music to warm the heart. Finally, the Maunday’s Lounge and Pool Terrace will offer light bits and cocktails where you can stop in and relax for a bit before heading out again to explore the island.
