Aristophania 1. The Kingdom of Azur by Script by Xavier Dorison / Art by Joël Parnotte Europe Comics

Description

It is the early 1900s and the three Francœur children are struggling to survive in the slums of Paris. But their lives change forever with the arrival of a mysterious stranger from their father’s past. Countess Aristophania Bolt from the Kingdom of Azur claims she has come to help the trio, but between disturbing phenomena—tricks or sorcery?—and invisible threats, it is hard to know whom to trust...

My Review:

Aristophania is the first in the Kingdom of Azur series by Xavier Dorison. The artwork is beautifully crafted. The cover is definitely what first attracted me to this book.

The beginning starts strong and leads us through a fantasy fairytale with a hidden magical world, spells and even a witch.

Overall, the book has a great appeal for those who enjoy an Edwardian setting. If you enjoy reading about magical hidden worlds, you will definitely enjoy this book. Azur is just that - a hidden magical word in France.

As Madame Countess Aristophania returns to save the children you can’t wait to see what happens as they learn she is a witch.

A truly easy read that keeps you wanting more.

This book was provided to me for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I highly recommend this book!!!

I GIVE IT A 5 STAR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
